Jasmin Tabatabai's singing is accompanied by an Orchestra, Bigband and a great Rhythm Group. Microphones used: 2 U47, 2 KM56 and 6 DPA 4006. www.volkshausstudio.com www.divox.com Idee und Klang in Shanghai Our sister company Idee und Klang has just finished composing an impressive soundtrack to a 720° movie for this years Expo in Shanghai. The 20:2 soundtrack (compared to normal cinema, which is 5:1) was premixed by us. The final mix was done in the pavilion in Shanghai. Music by Ramon De Marco and Daniel Dettwiler. The acousmatic mixing was done by Ramon De Marco. More information coming soon on the audio design page. Bettina Schelker The first three songs from the album are finished and will soon be released with her first single. www.bettinaschelker.ch Daniel Dettwiler live For the project Marienglas, a room-acoustic chamber opera by Beat Gysin, Daniel Dettwiler realized the audio design and interpreted and mixed the sound-rooms live. The audience enjoyed the concert lying down with Stax headphones on. An additional acousmatic sound system created more sound-rooms. The project will be performed again in Bern (June 2010) and in Zürich (February 2011). A xala is a type of floor xylophone, on which the dancer and musician Ania dances, creating sounds. Recording this unique instrument was a real challenge for sound engineer Daniel Dettwiler. The recordings were done in the Volkshausstudio Basel. The two artists appear in the film "BÖDÄLÄ"- Dance the Rhythm" by Gitta Gsell, which will be shown at the Solothurner Filmtage. www.xala.ch AMOK - A big filmmusic production The music for the movie "AMOK" was performed by the Tonhalle Orchestra, conducted by the renowned conductor David Zinman. The title track for his new solo album was composed and produced by David Klein, recorded and mixed by Hannes Kumke. Thomas was amazed by the vast microphone collection, from which he was able to choose the ideal mic for his voice. Huge filmmusicproduction for "Im Winter ein Jahr" by the oscar winning director Caroline Link Niki Reiser composed the soundtrack. The orchestra was recorded in the pharao Studio in Munich; all the other instruments were recorded at Idee und Klang. The 5.1 mix was created in our facilities. Sound engineer: Daniel Dettwiler, Assistants: Hannes Kumke, Hanne Stenzel and Jonas Prina. Acousmatic mix of various compositions for the BMW museum Munich While all the composing was done by the Idee und Klang audio design team, the premix for the 16 track AROS2 system was realized by the Idee und Klang studio. The final mix is produced directly in the BMW museum, on a 64 track AROS3 system and over 500 speakers.
